Types of Partnerships

We build long-term partnerships that shift instruction, mindset, and results. Schools and districts partner with us to develop cohesive, vision-aligned mathematics programs that create meaningful and lasting change for students and educators alike. We offer two partnership pathways:

Transformational

A deeper, system-wide partnership for schools and districts committed to making math culture change a strategic priority.

  • Higher level of coaching support to make change across classrooms and grade levels.

  • Plan and implement a multi-year math strategic plan

  • Engage in all four core activities in our approach

    • Vision-driven strategic leadership

    • School Math Culture Lead

    •  Lab Teachers

    • Customized Professional Learning

Building Blocks

A lighter-touch partnership designed to build momentum and lay the foundation for broader change ahead. This pathway might focus on:

  • A school or district math program audit

  • A small pilot of 1-2 activities in our approach

  • A math big idea PD sequence for a grade band (content knowledge)

  • Curriculum selection and implementation planning

  • Other customized support aligned to school or district's goals

Through either pathway, schools and districts can focus on one or more components of mathematics instruction at a time (click the photo to learn more):

Our Partners

“It’s been a phenomenal partnership. Math data is really taking off.
After many years, reading is still a struggle for us but math is soaring where we have implemented changes with Math Culture Lab.”
